Curacel Update: Resolving Duplicate Enrollees and The New HMO Client Portal

What’s New?

Below are the new features release highlights:

  • HMOs, you are now able to resolve duplicate enrollees faster
  • New Feature: HMO Clients Portal that allows HMO clients like corporates to add or/and delete dependent enrollees for existing principal enrollees

Resolving Duplicate Enrollees

Some insurers make the mistake of re-uploading an already existing enrollee but with a different insurance number.

This happens when a bulk upload option is used due to their manual in-house processes. These errors are usually not realized until claims have been created or later in the future.

Start Resolving Duplicate Enrollees:

When looking at a single enrollee, there’s an option (the three-dotted menu close to the edit icon) to resolve it as a duplicate.

CLICK ON THE ‘RESOLVE DUPLICATE’ BUTTON

When you click this button, select which enrollee record should be used as the original. There’ll be a confirmation popup: warning!!!

The Warning: “This duplicate enrollee would be deleted and all its associated data would be moved to the selected original”.

If you proceed, all the enrollee’s claims, dependants, pa-requests, etc will be re-associated to the ‘original enrollee’ selected above and the duplicate record will be deleted.

The New HMO Client Portal

As an HMO, your clients (not your providers) can now add and delete dependent enrollees for existing principal enrollees:

This feature has been in the oven long enough, and we’ve consistently received this feature request from HMOs for – the ability of their clients to be able to add and delete dependent enrollees from existing principal enrollees.
